With centers of expertise such as the Metallurgical Research Center (CRM) or the Gemme laboratory of the University of Liège, not to mention all the ore processing developed around the Earth and Stone Center (Centre Terre et Pierre), a whole value chain from recovery, to sorting and up to re-evaluation in the form of material has been structured around the “Reverse metallurgy” cluster.

Its development focuses on new recycling and metal treatment processes, new recycling technologies, and improving the competitiveness of metal-using companies through the circular economy.
